THURSDAY:
THURSDAY:
Dianna had a good day, but her blood pressure was high all day.
Then- about 7:45pm Dianna's blood pressure went so high that she began to have a seizure. :-(
She had another as they were getting ready to transfer her to PICU. :-(
They rushed her in because she began having problems breathing! :-(
Dianna was put on a breathing machine for about an hour till her breathing was back to normal.
FRIDAY & SATURDAY:
The doctors are trying to find the best combination of blood pressure medication for Dianna.
The other medications that she is on are causing the high blood pressure.
(steroids, cyclosporine, probenecid & cidifovir)
Dianna is NOT happy with being in the PICU.
She keeps crying-- "Mommy, I want to go home!" :-(

Hi Nanette,
what a crazy day! Pretty full on. I am sorry that Dianna is asking to go home and is upset. I hope you are holding up ok. Praying for you guys.
Love Charisse
Loved seeing your pictures with Mom, friends and your teachers.. what a beautiful smile. You have had a few more tough days, I don't blame you a bit for being tired of all that and wanting to go home. It is just that all the wonderful doctors and nurses are there and they are close by when you need them. I know some days are harder than others. Hang in there. You are loved. Love Donetta
Dianna,
What a wonderfully brave and beautiful young lady you are! I hope that you are feeling better today, and each day that goes by you will grow stronger just knowing that you will go home feeling so much better. Your smile makes me smile! In all of the pictures that you are smiling, it looks like you light up the whole room. I really liked the picture of your halloween costume, that was really cool. Hugs to you and your whole family and keep up the good work. I will be reading your mom's posts every day to see how you are doing.
Keep smiling, you probably light up the whole hospital! Who needs electricity anyways!

I'm sorry I didn't see this earlier! It wasn't until I saw your email on the FA group and saw everyone's comments that I began wondering what was going on.
How scary! I hope they figure out the correct balance for her and do it quickly. Breaks my heart with her wanting to go home so badly. I can't imagine your stress/emotions through it all. Hang in there guys. Our hearts and prayers and with you. I'm amazed by your strength!
Love/God Bless,
Teresa & Emma
