Welcome to Dianna's webpage.

It has been provided to keep friends and family updated on her life with Fanconi anemia (FA).

Dianna was diagnosed with FA in April 1998.

FA causes aplastic anemia (bone marrow failure), as well as many different types of cancers.

She had a few of the obvious signs of FA: missing both thumbs, deaf in her right ear, very small for her age, and had corrective surgery at birth on her intestines.

Dianna had a sibling donor bone marrow transplant at Medical City Dallas, TX.

Day + 144 (Total # of days in hospital= 153)

Dianna is out of the PICU...
she was moved to a room on Friday, 2/20.
She is now in Room 618 in Building D.
Her new phone # 972-566-8718.
Dianna had a good day on Friday, and felt like going to the playroom. :-)
Saturday and Sunday, she has been having problems with her stomach and high blood pressure.
The seizures that she had on Thursday, 2/12- have got her body out of wack...
She is back to having problems eating/keeping things down (food & medications) and high blood pressure. :-(
Please pray that Dianna will begin to feel better and her blood pressure will level out again.
