Welcome to Dianna's webpage.

It has been provided to keep friends and family updated on her life with Fanconi anemia (FA).

Dianna was diagnosed with FA in April 1998.

FA causes aplastic anemia (bone marrow failure), as well as many different types of cancers.

She had a few of the obvious signs of FA: missing both thumbs, deaf in her right ear, very small for her age, and had corrective surgery at birth on her intestines.

Dianna had a sibling donor bone marrow transplant at Medical City Dallas, TX.

Day + 174

MONDAY-- Dianna had surgery to remove her port...
The surgery was to begin between 2:00pm- 4:00pm, but the surgeon had an emergency-
so Dianna was pushed back to 7:00pm.
The surgeon said the procedure went well-
He removed Dianna's port and inserted a temporary central line on her shoulder.
TUESDAY-- Dianna is very sore, but had a pretty good day.

HEY DIANNA!!
Brad "I'm the best drawer in the whole wide world!!" Lucky here. I'm sorry to hear that you are back in the hospital. (OH, I mean, ahem (clearing my throat)...the "BIG WHITE MAGICAL PALACE OF LOVE!", right?) You tell the parents if you need another round of the drawing game. I've been practicing drawing bears so you can't beat me next time. Take care. Much love from the Moroch team!

Dianna,

Sorry you had to go back to the hospital but thankful they were able to figure out what the problem was and knew how to fix it. Hang in there. We are praying. You are one awesome little girl. Just amazing.

Love,
Kevin, Brenda, Dusty and JP

Glad everything went well and sorry she had to go back to the hospital! Hopefully things'll keep improving from here.

Lots of Love and prayers!
Teresa & Emma
PS: Emma still talks about Dianna! We had wanted to come and visit more, but Emma was sick for two months. We didn't want to get Dianna sick. Then when we finally made it to the hospital with her healthy, the dr said you had been discharged the day before.
