Welcome to Dianna's webpage.

It has been provided to keep friends and family updated on her life with Fanconi anemia (FA).

Dianna was diagnosed with FA in April 1998.

FA causes aplastic anemia (bone marrow failure), as well as many different types of cancers.

She had a few of the obvious signs of FA: missing both thumbs, deaf in her right ear, very small for her age, and had corrective surgery at birth on her intestines.

Dianna had a sibling donor bone marrow transplant at Medical City Dallas, TX.

I have learned that there is no understanding what chronic and life changing illnesses have for me. But, I know that those who have endured them have a light and a soul that touches, inspires and uplifts so many of us and gives us the gift of enriching our lives in a way that can not be achieved by any other means. Dianna you inspire me. We wish you love, rest and joy. I'm so sorry your life has had such a journey of struggle and we pray that God uplift you and carry you when you are too weak to walk alone.

Good news, You are feeling better. I know it is taking a long time for everything to work out. What a trooper you are! You are such a brave young lady. You and your mom are continue to be my heroes. I wish you did not have to be in the hospital for Christmas but I know that everyone there is taking good care of you and that Santa knows where you are. Merry Christmas. Jesus loves you. Dianna,

God is hearing our prayers. I have asked everyone to pray specifically for God to solve the blood pressure issue and make your tummy feel better. It is working!! We are going to keep praying for very specific issues until you come home. Keep your chin up! Know that we all love you and your family.

Merry Christmas,
Kevin, Brenda, Dusty & JP Latham
